- Ice Cubes
- 60 ml Savoy Dry Gin
- 30 ml Dry Vermouth
- 2 Dashes Grenadine
- 1 Dash Absinthe
- 1 Twist Lemon Zest
The cocktail was included in Harry Craddock's famous book from 1930 called "The Savoy Cocktail Book". Although it is not in line with common practice to shake drinks that do not include a significant juice content, the book specifies that this cocktail must be shaken.
Add ingredients to your trusty shaking tin. Add ice and shake until frosty cold.
Strain into chilled glass.
